Summary
The Senior Director, Product Marketing, Enterprise Security Products, will lead the product marketing function and teams for the Enterprise Security Products business unit. The portfolio consists of ArcSight and Fortify product families, professional services, and solutions that cut across HPE’s larger portfolio of products and services.
Responsibilities
* Define and deliver the value proposition, positioning, messaging for each part of the portfolio, and across the portfolio * Develop and deliver a differentiated and visionary thought leadership agenda across the portfolio, and in partnership with other HPE businesses * Develop institutional capability through qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand * The customer: segments, environments, requirements, top-of-mind conversations, buying and use cycles and behaviors) * Our products: capabilities, use cases, benefits – both quantitative and qualitative, differentiators * The competition: capabilities, positioning, use cases, strengths & weaknesses * Orchestrate and drive successful GTM execution through sales plays and marketing programs across customers touch points to rapidly grow the business * Partner with the enablement team to develop and deliver product and solution training content * Partner with the corporate and field marketing functions to develop and deliver compelling content for marketing programs, web properties, social platforms and user communities across awareness, consideration, purchase and use * Influence through insight and analysis the product and solution futures in close partnership with product management, product development and professional services * Be a key spokesperson at industry events, with analysts and press and at the Executive Briefing Center * Nurture, support and manage a high performing, motivated and talented team of product marketing professionals
Ideal Candidate
* Deep understanding of the enterprise security and technology space * Have a strong perspective on futures in a rapidly changing security landscape * Demonstrated track record of success in strategic product marketing in the IT infrastructure industry with a similarly sized business , managing multiple teams * Analytical and technical capability to ask the right questions, understand use cases across different enterprise segments * Ability to build relationships and alignment across a matrix organization and with senior executives to drive transformation and execution in market * Passion for putting customers and partners first, and building meaningful relationships that help inform and drive our GTM success * Communicate to inspire in a provocative, insightful and thoughtful manner * Collaborative, self-aware and detail oriented * Unquestionable integrity and character * Care deeply about the professional development of team and peers * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, preferably with a master’s degree in business.
