Summary
The Marketing Analytics Manager plays a critical role in supporting the strategic marketing and marketing communications (Marcom) initiatives for the Market Development team. The Manager will collaborate with key internal (Market Development, Marketing Communications, Product Category Management, and Sales) and external (service providers, trade associations) stakeholders to create analytical solutions, conduct comprehensive data analysis, understand the true business needs and derive actionable insights for strategic planning and evaluation of pre and post campaign activities.
Responsibilities
* Analyzes and interprets multiple syndicated and secondary market data and industry reports to enable deep understanding of current and new competitors, price structures, market sizes, and other trends that increase opportunities or risks for Henry Schein Medical key segments and specialties. * Conceptualizes designs and delivers digital marketing analytics to drive opportunity identification/quantification, segmentation/targeting, media/social analytics and website or online experience analytics. * Develops appropriate research designs, plans and executes market research projects and analyzes the resulting data to provide recommendations to internal teams. * Extracts data sets from multiple marketing/data sources including web analytic tools, social listening tools, search tools, syndicated data, research and survey tools. * Prepares reports and presents insights results to internal (i.e. market development, product category management, sales) and external (i.e. manufacturers, customers) * Works closely with the Market Development Managers, Product Category Management, Marketing Communications and Sales (Healthcare Services and Tele) to plan, execute and evaluate a broad range of strategic marketing initiatives and programs. **In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:** * Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards. * Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Ideal Candidate
**Experience:** * Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing analytics with demonstrated knowledge of marketing/digital marketing/research principles. * Minimum 2 years of experience with digital-specific analytics including knowledge and applied experience in integrated, multi-channel marketing campaign tactics. **Specialized Knowledge and Skills:** * Competency in analytic techniques such as: time series data analysis, segmentation, univariate & multivariate statistical analysis, various metrics and key performance indicators, research & test design, significance testing, variance and growth calculations, forecasting, return on investment. * Advanced knowledge of media & web site analysis tools and vendors, including both quantitative tracking and research methodologies. * Expert skills in Excel functions: Pivots, advanced formulas/macros, multi-spreadsheet links. * Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills. * Proactive, outgoing and can work collaboratively with cross-functional team members. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to extract and effectively communicate actionable insights from data. **Other:** * Bachelor’s degree in statistics, MBA strongly preferred.
