Responsibilities
* Under the direction of a Radiologist, specializes in the performance of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician.
* Performs related functions according to department protocols.
* Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices.
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
* Must be registered (or registry eligible) with the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS)
* Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
* Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
