Manager - Clinical Services - Home Health Care

* Reporting to the Clinical Director, is responsible for the management of assigned home health care programs in accordance with corporate, government, accreditation and regulatory guidelines. * Manages the activities of assigned personnel. * Responsible for the formulation of policies and implementation of procedures related to assigned programs. * Evaluates, assesses and recommends to the clinical director improvements in programs or services.

* Current licensure in Michigan as a registered nurse is required. * A professional level of knowledge such as that acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in nursing to provide familiarity with all facets of nursing services and home health care procedures required. * A master's degree in nursing or administration is preferred. * Requires a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience, two (2) years of which should be in home health care. * Previous supervisory experience is required. * Analytical ability required to evaluate the effectiveness of Home Health Care policies, procedures and programs and to make recommendations for improvement. * Verbal/written skills required to effectively present issues, communicate with others and clearly summarize actions required. * Interpersonal skills required to provide guidance and supervision and act as resource person to staff. * Basic computer skills are helpful. * Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. * Must have reliable transportation and a telephone. * Must be able to lift, carry, transport and move clients, if needed.
