* Interprets written eyeglass prescriptions. * Instructs patients in eyeglass care and use. * Ensures finished lenses are ground to specifications and checks that eyewear fits properly. * Adjusts and repairs eyewear as needed. * Prepares work orders for optical laboratory. * Performs clerical duties. * Effectively maintains multiple phone lines while demonstrating proper telephone etiquette.

* High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. * Previous computer experience and basic math skills required. * Previous customer service experience required. * Previous optical experience highly preferred. * Experience with troubleshooting eyeglass prescriptions is ideal. * Must be willing to work a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends.
