• Interprets written eyeglass prescriptions.
• Instructs patients in eyeglass care and use.
• Ensures finished lenses are ground to specifications and checks that eyewear fits properly.
• Adjusts and repairs eyewear as needed.
• Prepares work orders for optical laboratory.
• Performs clerical duties.
• Effectively maintains multiple phone lines while demonstrating proper telephone etiquette.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Previous computer experience and basic math skills required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Previous optical experience highly preferred.
• Experience with troubleshooting eyeglass prescriptions is ideal.
• Must be willing to work a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends.
