Summary
This position is for a Quality Assurance Engineer, where the candidate is expected to support designing, building, and executing automated test suites for Healthedge's integration platform in an Agile environment The individual will be responsible for writing and deploying automated test cases using commercial test software as well as in-house testing frameworks, and follow best practices and procedures in the team.
Responsibilities
* Analyze existing and new application functionality and write test cases to maximize application test coverage * Work with the rest of the team to review and enhance test cases * Create automated tests for the documented test cases * Demonstrate new functionality and obtain acceptance by the product manager * Develop tests to drive enterprise integration functionality via numerous integration technologies and formats, as well data generation, security testing, performance testing, etc. * Support the execution of automated tests in a continuous integration environment * Research new testing technologies which could enhance the quality of the products * Experience working with EDI is a plus * Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 5 of years’ experience in automated test development * Experience with Performance Measurement and Security/Vulnerability testing * Strong experience with test harness tools: Selenium, SOAP UI, Putty, Junit/TestNG, JMeter/TheGrinder * Experience in designing and building test frameworks * Expert experience in testing SOAP web services * Experience in Java 1.7/8/9, SQL, JavaScript, windows batch/Linux shell script * Strong communication skills along with the ability to work independently or in a team setting * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus * Experience working with healthcare applications is a plus
