Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to provide both internal and external technical support for our healthcare-specific talent management products.

The Software Engineer is responsible for fixing bugs, and contributing to the development of product features. The Software Engineer will work closely with other engineers, and product owners as part of a small agile development team.

• Develop and test new product features
• Integrate new (.NET) technologies and services into a legacy (ColdFusion) app
• Work closely with Product teams to groom, and plan feature development efforts

• 3-5 years experience with ASP.NET/C#, and the .NET Framework 4.5+ or 3-5 years experience with ColdFusion
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies with minimal supervision
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Experience with XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON
• Experience with a modern IDE (Visual Studio, ColdFusion Builder, etc.)
• Experience with a version control system (TFS, Git, SVN, etc.)
• Experience with a relational database system (i.e., SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to explain technical matters to non-technical people
• The skill to Identify product trends and escalate them accordingly
• Exceptional analysis and problem solving skills
