Summary
We are seeking a Manager, Product Management to manage a team of product managers and product developers to select and curate content products and to develop features, functions and tools to improve marketability and delivery to clients. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, takes initiative, leads by example and operates effectively.
Responsibilities
* Own creation of the product line roadmap in alignment with the portfolio strategy. Lead the product team in executing the roadmap plans. * Collaborate with customers/market to capture and validate existing and emerging needs. * Hire, develop and mentor a team of high-performing product managers and product developers with an emphasis on domain knowledge, technology (e-learning content and learning management technology), and process (client validation, competitive analysis). * Engage internal stakeholders to create and refine fast, effective product development and go-to-market processes including release planning, services enablement and sales enablement. * Own the success of go-to-market efforts to drive early adoption of key releases.
Ideal Candidate
**You Have:** * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences * Experience in developing a strong product management team * Experience in managing the product management process through market analysis, requirements creation, launch/release, and client validation * Experience in go-to-market functions with an emphasis on delivering early adoption of new innovations * Bias for action and experience making things happen in a fast-paced dynamic environment * 5+ years of experience in enterprise product management * 2+ years of experience in direct people management * Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline **You Might Have:** * Certification in product management * Experience in the healthcare, talent management, learning management or e-learning domains * Experience managing products that deliver value from both information (content) and functionality
