Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology (IT) Project Management Office (PMO) the Project Manager (PM) is responsible for designing, planning, and managing work teams with minimal supervision. The PM follows, enforces and improves the Health Quest Project Management Methodology. (S)he uses defined templates for project team members. The PM establishes roles, responsibilities, and expectations for members of work teams. (S)he provides timelines, milestones and status reports based on end user, vendor and internal Health Quest resource priorities and existing service level agreement requirements. (S)he assigns work on behalf of the customer and with the authority granted from executive & business sponsors to appropriate resources. The PM manages the project process from initiation through to support and maintenance. Typically the PM manages systems analysts, end user decision makers, vendor resources and or contract employees in relation to the project. The PM relies on experience, mature judgment and established standards to plan and accomplish goals. Communications (Most Significant ~50 %) Communications with the Project sponsors, team, and other stakeholders of projects is a significant portion of this work.

Minimal Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or HealthCare Related field required.
- The Project Manager must be a member in good standing of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
- Working knowledge of standard office productivity software such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.
- 4-6 years increasingly responsible work experience in the information technology and/or project management fields.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Requires sufficient language skills to communicate effectively with system users regarding technical and business issues.
- Proficiency in written communication.
- Exhibits outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess own transportation and travel to various site locations as directed.
- Meets all legal hiring criteria and able to produce at least two employment references.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree
- Strong organization skills with accurate attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to meet time and budget sensitive deadlines.
- Proficiency in interpreting and documenting the business needs of customers into functional requirements of project deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to identify areas of risk for project sponsors, the costs associated with the risk, methods of mitigating risk and benefits generated when appropriate risks are managed.
- Experience in tracking actual expenses of a project for cost accounting and budget purposes.
- Managing staff members and holding teams accountable to measurable deliverables.
- Comfortable with the definition of project scope and renegotiation when a project exceeds scope.
- Understanding of IT terminology, basic networking exposure and integration.
- The ability to devise innovative approaches and solutions to difficult problems with complex variables or involving multiple departments.
- Extensive use of terminals, PCs and minor office equipment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting in front of a terminal on a daily basis.
- Pursuit and maintenance of other project management or industry credentials such as PgMP, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma, HIT-PRO, CHTS-IM, ITIL and PRINCE2 a plus.
