Summary

The Principal Technical Leads mission is to ensure solution delivery has a sound technical approach and can leverage the skills of each team member and/or delivery group to move towards a common goal. You will work in a supportive team environment ensuring our clients receive the best solutions to their toughest technology challenges.
Responsibilities
**Project Proposals and Planning** * Lead the development of prototypes and "spikes" to assist in scope, effort and cost exercises during a project assessment * Collaborate with Headspring User Experience Engineers and Business Analysts to distill requirements into very clearly delineated project scope, with reliably accurate estimates * Ensure that our solution fits within any budget or schedule constraints that the project is operating under * Generate technical architecture and patterns that conform to Headspring standards and best practices * Work with project leads to ensure an accurate and realistic milestone/delivery schedule **Project Delivery** * Work with Technical Architects to ensure a smooth transition from project assessment to delivery * Set technical solution patterns and practices for Headspring development teams * Ensure project success by defining and overseeing the development process for all team members * Achieve high levels of quality by leveraging code reviews and testing (both automated and manual) * Work with Project Managers to achieve all incremental milestones during development * Be the primary technical voice between our project team and our client stakeholders * Coordination of multiple small development teams or a large development team **Delivery Team Leadership** * Develop collaborative relationships with project team * Develop and maintain open, honest and trusting relationships * Anticipate and contain technical risks **Mentorship** * Regularly provide honest feedback for all project team members * Work with Managers to ensure team members keep performing at a high level * Grow other team members into leadership roles
Ideal Candidate
* 8+ years of Software Development * Demonstrated ability make large-scoping, high-impact technical decisions * Mentorship of developer team members * Guidance of a large development teams or multiple smaller teams
