Responsibilities
- Work with Sales personnel to provide technical support and develop proof of concept applications
- Manage the technical relationship with customers and partners
- Conduct training engagements
- Be active in the community. Blog and tweet about Hazelcast features/tips/news
- Collect feedback from the community, users and customers, shape the future of Hazelcast
- Provide architectural and advisory consulting for key accounts to ensure successful implementations
Ideal Candidate
- Seven plus (7+) years in software development experience with recent hands on Java
- Expertise in distributed caching, scalability and highly available systems
- Strong technical skills in Spring, Hibernate and JEE
- Comfortable with Linux, Solaris, Unix and Windows
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills (TCP/IP, Multicast, JVM Garbage Collection)
- Passionate about speaking and writing about highly scalable systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to collaborate within teams
