Senior Project Manager - IT Job

We have a need for an energetic and experienced Senior Project Manager in Information Technology. You will be working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, global environment to lead teams in delivering business solutions that meet objectives on time and on budget. To accomplish this, the Senior Project Manager will perform the following key functions:

* Work with the requesting business organization, project team and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing, and works with senior leadership and stakeholders for approvals * Ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget and meet all business and system requirements * Conducts all project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost and quality goals are met * Guide project team in understanding project approach, roles and responsibilities and expectations in performing activities throughout the lifecycle of the project using industry-proven methods * Leads and engages dynamic, cross-functional teams including business analysts, enterprise architects, organizational change management leads, quality analysts, technical leads, technicians, developers, internal and external business partners in a multi-cultural, global, virtual team environment * Lead project teams in developing project plans, schedule and work breakdown structure for projects * Leads risk and issue management activities throughout the project lifecycle. Discusses and prioritizes project issues with project team; leads in removing obstacles * Develop and manage resource management plan including identification of resource problems and capacity constraints, and work with functional managers to resolve * Communicates project status, progress on deliverables and risks/issues to stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner * Lead project teams through Lessons Learned activities and implement or escalate recommended changes * Ensures project teams adhere to Hasbro standard practices and tools * Champions best practices and continuous improvement of project management, solution development and ITIL * Coaches less experienced project leaders

**Specialized Knowledge and Skills:** * Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Strong experience in project planning, organizing, team motivation and delegation * Team player and able to work with and through others * Ability to influence others and move toward a common objective * Builds positive and effective relationships with individuals both internal and external to the IT organization * Goal oriented, self-directed, fast learner with ability to operate effectively in new environments * Able to work with tight deadlines in an ever changing environment * Able to work independently on multiple mid-sized projects and also collaborate as a strong team member in a fast-paced environment * Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail * Budgeting and data analysis skills **Education/Experience:** * 7+ years’ experience leading teams through projects, project management and solution development best practices and in use of related tools. * PMP Certification Preferred * Under graduate degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent experience * Experience leading applications implementations, preferred * Experience working in a major scheduling tool required; knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management tools preferred
