Account Reconciliation Analyst

The position primarily supports and performs reconciliations, research, analysis and ad hoc reporting to functional team responsible for recording and reporting activities for the following accounts: Cash, Liability, Intercompany and Fixed Assets. This position provides support for period-end close requirements as well as internal and external audit requirements.

* Provide support to functional analysts’ research and resolve discrepancies for intercompany, disbursements, expenses and cash functions * Perform reconciliation work for intercompany, accounts payable and cash accounts accurately and in accordance with GAAP and company policies * Support all aspects of Fixed Assets processing and financial reporting * Assist with period-, quarter- and year-end close responsibilities to ensure adherence to reporting deadlines * Facilitate with division contacts to ensure transactions are accurately recorded in general ledger in a timely manner * Coordinate intercompany transactions between division contacts and functional teams * Proactively anticipate potential issues to mitigate undesired outcomes * Support internal and external audit requirements * Assist with ad –hoc reporting and special projects as needed

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and at least three years of experience * PeopleSoft experience a must, SAP experience preferred * Must be organized and able to self-manage tasks simultaneously * Self-directed but can work well as an effective team member in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
