This position will be responsible for selling, training and merchandising Harman Mobile Aftermarket products in assigned territory. The position will work closely with regional manager to identify target dealers to grow their existing business with Harman and also locate and sign up new accounts. The role will be based in either Florida, Texas or Atlanta, GA.
- Work closely with National Sales Manager to identify target independent specialists in the assigned region
- Deliver product and business oriented presentations and demonstrations to targeted dealers to finalize sales
- Develop direct relationships with new and current dealers and serve as the Harman Car Audio expert
- Help create and execute sales and business presentations and demonstrations
- Develop product and sales training presentations on all Harman mobile aftermarket product lines
- Conduct regular training sessions with dealers, rep companies and distributors about the consumer benefits of the applicable Harman brands and products
- Represent Harman at dealer events, trade shows and corporate events as directed
- Maintenance of any corporate vehicles and product displays assigned to functions/events
- Have complete understanding of Harman’s car audio brands & products
- Support new product launches by ensuring demo’s arrive on-time and dealers are fully trained on product benefits to the consumer
- Report sales trends weekly to National Sales Manager
- Identify and communicate product shortages or overstock to Natonal Sales Manager
- Constantly observe dealer activities to report what is happening in merchandising, sales and staffing as it relates to Harman products, competitive products and overall business with our dealers
- On occasion, support other key accounts, attend events or trade show as requested by Harman
- Awareness of competition and how our brands fit into the market.
- HS diploma
- Deep knowledge of car audio industry, products and their applications.
- Knowledge of the business operation of independent retailers.
- 5+ years in car audio industry

- Bachelors in Business or Marketing
- Retail management experience with emphasis on training ability and selling skills
- Strong technical skills with emphasis on Consumer Electronics
