Summary

This position does not have supervisory responsibility. No direct reports, but may supervise work of entry level Engineers for guidance.

Responsibilities

Manage Harman's NA Infotainment Requirements Management tools and overall process/policies used for access and management reporting. These include DOORS and third party ALM integration tools.
Working with specific program Requirement Leads, setup, manage and support the Requirements Analysis activity for each of the projects/programs as an integral part of our product life cycle.
Proactively monitor and support the Requirements Analysis process through interaction with DOORS and the project teams.
Assist with documenting the strategy for managing and tracking feature catalogs and requirements.
Create/modify existing DXL (DOORS eXtension Language) scripts that support the overall process workflow and reports.

Ideal Candidate

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
* 5 or more years of related industry experience with hands-on experience implementing and maintaining DOORS projects and modules.
* Demonstrated expertise in a range of requirements driven software development tools and approaches (e.g. DOORS, Perforce, Jira, Rally, Visual Studio, SharePoint, Subversion.)
* Experience with multiple software development models including Agile, Iterative and Waterfall.
* Experience with Agile principles and their aligned practices.
* Experience with DXL (DOORS eXtension Language) and preferably additional scripting languages
* Experience with collaborating with developers and test teams to identify logical extension points for automated testing, post-build smoke tests, etc.
* The ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and solutions in clear, concise and easily readable format by both technical and non-technical personnel.
* Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with third party vendors and their support departments to aid issue resolution.

* Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor, multi-interface environment.
* Microsoft Visual Studio development experience (or equivalent).
* Proficiency in real-time multi-threaded software design and development.
