Summary
The Product Quality Analyst position plays a critical role on the team to proactively inform the organization on Quality Performance results and create visibility to warranty issues and trends. The central focus is to provide accurate reports and timely communication regarding the quality requirements and strategy.
Responsibilities
The major responsibility for this position is to create, execute, monitor, detect and prioritize process data such as warranty, product inspection defect rating, non-conforming material, labeling, testing and pre-production submissions. Provides reports on quality performance to stakeholders within the company. Establishes the appropriate approach for utilization of data and obtaining the necessary supporting technology. Creates visibility of warranty and quality performance by communicating and disseminating quality information. Provides analysis support for warranty data including domestic and international markets, as well as, the warranty reserve/budgeting process.
Ideal Candidate
**Experience Required:** The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ of industry experience, preferably in a Quality, Product Management or Sourcing position or as an apparel supplier. In addition, they will have demonstrated the following: - Understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes for premium branded products. - Drive continuous improvement into the daily, weekly and monthly reporting process by improving the time from request to report generation. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently to interact with internal and external personnel at all levels, including international partners. - Requires strong organizational, problem-solving, follow-through and attention to detail skills to handle changing priorities and tight schedules. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to ask questions that get to the heard of issues and work with individuals who have data needs and recommend solutions. - Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, statistical analysis software and experience with FlexPLM or other product life cycle computer software is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision. - Requires the ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
