Summary
Passenger Check-in; Perform Security Procedures; Aircraft Boarding
Responsibilities
* Performs a variety of duties at an airport, involving customer contact and operational service and deliver a high quality product. * Work assignments may involve specific tasks associated with interim postings at the ticket counter, airport lobby, lounge, gate check-in, baggage service and other functional areas, or rotation through all areas.
Ideal Candidate
* At least 18yrs old, with a High School Diploma or G.E.D. * English proficient, other languages may be required. * Basic Math Skills: Adding, Subtracting, Division, and Multiplying. * Common Sense, Organized, * Mental capacity to make quick and rational decisions * Perform a variety of duties at an airport, * Customer contact and Operational services, * Perform a broad range of duties depending on location and service demands while delivering a high quality product, * Work assignments may involve specific tasks associated with interim postings at the ticket counter, airport lobby, baggage counter, gate check-in, control-center, other functional areas, or rotation through all areas including bag-room, ramp and other terminals, * Pulling, pushing and moving large bulky items including carts, * Continuous standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping, grasping and picking up items * Able to lift up to 70 lbs * Reading, Interpretation & Comprehension of reference materials, Instructions, policies & procedures * Effective communication skills and good listening skills * Environmental conditions involve continuous people interaction; fast pace; exposure to high noise levels, dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, hazardous or toxic material; heavy crowd activity; working in confined spaces or heights frequently and for extended periods, * Multi-tasking **Required Training** * Selected candidates will be required to attend two weeks of training

Virgin Atlantic Airways Account Shift 1:30pm to 9:00pm Schedule [i.e. M/T/W/F/Sun or TBA] Daily operation
