US Houston Principal/Advisor Consultant

Under general supervision, has good knowledge and understanding of applicable science and technology and the oil and gas industry, gained through formal education and work experience. Demonstrates knowledge of existing and emerging technology and product areas. Communicates to individual clients how they should use that technology to be more productive. Understands, can articulate and apply mainstay process for assignment delivery. Has the ability to lead small teams and communicate directly with clients. Effectively plans and manages own workload or that of a small team to meet desired service level targets. Maintains a consistent client-focused approach with clients and/or individuals. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in geo-science, engineering, computer science or business and 8 or more years of experience.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with the customer to requirements elicitation and design. * Team player and willing to contribute to others success * Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify a problem and translate into a solution * Able to perform advanced physical and logical database design for multiple applications. * Performs advanced Application tuning and troubleshooting. * Specific understanding of the O/S platform on which databases reside. * Good web development knowledge (Java HTML5). * Knowledge of JBOSS, VDB and ETL tools is a plus * Strong Pl/SQL skills * Strong scripting skills * Basic understanding of BI concepts * Prior knowledge of working with oil and gas production operations related solutions
