Responsibilities
* Responsible for the Landmark Geosciences services business globally. This includes the financial growth of the business, i.e. revenue and margin, and the definition of initiatives to support the expected growth in the different geographical areas as required. * Develop new Landmark Geosciences service offerings to support growth of the Geosciences Services practice and to facilitate the adoption of our Geosciences technology by our clients. * Support account team efforts worldwide in promotion and initial implementation of service offerings associated with the adoption of Landmark Geosciences technologies, including DecisionSpace Geosciences. * Design, develop, and implement internal competency and resource development programs for Landmark Geosciences services personnel to enable them to deliver the new services offerings across the globe. * Design, develop, and implement workflow review and optimization best practices for Landmark's geosciences clients to enable the fast adoption of our technology and their fast investment recovery. * Develop processes and best practices to be followed by the Landmark organization across the globe to assure quality in the delivery of services solutions in the Geoscience practice. * Support and perform internal initiatives with the R&D organization to contribute to the improvement of our technology. * Coordinating activities of Geosciences Global Services team, including the team's operating budget. * Up to 25% domestic and international travel to client and project sites.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** - Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Geoscience, Geophysical Engineering, or an Engineering Degree in a related scientific field. **Experience:** - 3 years of related experience **Alternative Education and Experience:** - Alternatively, the company will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Geoscience, Geophysical Engineering, or an Engineering Degree in a related scientific field and 2 years of related experience. - Any suitable combination of education or experience is acceptable. **Must have 2 years of experience in the following:** - Geoscience interpretation and earth modeling within the context of a services or operating company; - Developing multi-disciplinary geoscience workflows for operating companies; - Working in more than one geography to understand firsthand the cultural and professional differences in the Geoscience marketplace; - Supporting and carrying sales processes, specifically for Geoscience technology; and - Experience working with geosciences technologies for prospect generation and integrated multi-discipline workflows, seismic data interpretation, geological data interpretation, seismic attribute extraction as well as seismic data processing, velocity models generation and quality control, synthetics creations, cross sections and structural reconstruction, special analysis as spectral decomposition for complex depositional systems, dynamic and static models definition, interpretation and creation, targets, pad and well locations and design, stimulated rock volume estimation with micro seismic data.
