Electrical Designer/Draftsman

Halff Associates has an opening for an Electrical Designer/Draftsman in McAllen, TX.

• Drafting, editing, and finalizing design plans and details using appropriate symbols and drafting standards
• Understanding and visualizing overall electrical engineering concepts and translating those concepts to CAD drawings
• Analyzing sketches, notes, and other input material to complete a construction drawing set
• Working collaboratively with the CADD group in the preparation of design drawings and details and reviewing completed work product to ensure quality

Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of AutoCAD and Revit Autodesk design experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as a self-motivator

Desired:

• Familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Possess strong reasoning, mathematical, and geometrical skills
