Tour Guide

Part-time Tour Guide positions are currently available at Celestial Seasonings. Must be at least 18 years old. Position pays $10.15/hour. Hours will vary and include weekends. We are seeking individuals who are outgoing, enthusiastic and possess excellent presentation and public speaking skills. Prior Tour experience is preferred. Retail or Hospitality experience required, as well as great customer service. Positions involve giving tours of our manufacturing plant.

* Organize and conduct tours explaining the brand and manufacturing process. * Prepare teas and assist customers with product samplings and surveys. * Stocking, cleaning, organizing, merchandising and communicating stock needs. * Operate cash register accurately. * Operate ticket counter, answer phone to schedule group tour reservations. * Rinsing, racking, dishwashing and restocking sampling cups. * Operate a steamer to make blended drinks. * Available to work some weekends, nights and holidays. * Communicate with management concerning staff and customer needs. * Additional duties and various projects as needed. * Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary. * Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to: * GMP’s * Allergen Program * Quality * Sanitation * Safety

* High school degree or equivalent. * One to three years customer service experience. * Good math and cash handling skills needed to operate cash register. * Must be neat, clean, and professional in appearance. * Presentation skills – must be able to make presentations to large groups. * Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced tour environment with a positive attitude. * Must be reliable and flexible, and available to work weekends, holidays. * Excellent customer service and oral communication skills. * Ability to lift 40-60 lbs., carry 20-40 lbs, push/pull 60+ lbs. Ability to be on feet throughout the day. * Ability to meet attendance guidelines. * Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company.
