Summary
This position is responsible to oversee the entire production process and ensure that manufacturing objectives are established and met. Additionally, this position focuses on continuously improving our process in the key result areas of Quality, Service, Cost and Personnel.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the development and execution of the Manufacturing Plan. * Supervise a two shift manufacturing operation to meet Quality, Service, Cost and People objectives. * Ensure compliance with all FDA, OSHA, local regulatory agencies and AIB auditing requirements and meet or exceed safety goals. * Work with production planning to minimize operation downtime and meet or exceed production plan requirements. * Develop employees through ongoing training programs. * Promote employee involvement while facilitating positive organizational change. * Manage and create pertinent OH budgets along with all Direct Labor budgets. * Cross-company communication regarding employee, material and production issues. * Accurately and timely completion of production reporting. * Assist Supervisors in the hiring of production operators and hire, train, develop and evaluate all personnel including annual performance evaluations. * Oversee all facilities projects and maintenance including utility contracts, landscaping contracts and other contracts pertaining to the upkeep of the facility. * Work with On-Site Temporary Employee Coordinator and develop budgets and contracts. * Administer, develop and provide input on policies. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** * Production Supervisor * Compounding Supervisor
Ideal Candidate
* 10 years related experience or equivalent in Production planning, manufacturing, packaging, manpower development and leadership. * Bachelors Degree. Engineering highly preferred. * Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills * Ability to manage priorities and workflow * Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm * Proficient on Microsoft Suites software * Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines * Strong interpersonal skills. * Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. * Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions * Creative, flexible, and innovative team player * Bilingual skills a plus. * Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions * Ability to perform any physical labor necessary * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
