Director Infrastructure Technical Services

Roy Grumman, co-founder of Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation, proposed the development of a purpose-built business aircraft at World War II’s end.

Responsible for all infrastructure operations covering data center, network, server, telephony, service monitoring, user support/service desk, distributed computing, servers, storage and related software. The role is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability for all IT systems and infrastructure.

• Oversee and be responsible for all IT infrastructure operations
• Achieve and maintain availability, resiliency and serviceability of all operations and delivery of services according to agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs)
• Foster a culture of superior customer service, "healthy paranoia" of what can go wrong, proactivity, a sense of urgency when responding to service interruptions, and continuous improvement
• Ensure operational readiness of infrastructure when new services or updates are introduced into production
• Maintain currency of infrastructure and manage total lifecycle of infrastructure assets
• Manage relationships with key IT Infrastructure service providers
• Serve as an escalation point for all issues regarding IT infrastructure operations
• Hire, lead and manage capable, energetic, passionate management for areas under your responsibility
• Promote and ensure adherence to policies, processes and procedures, as well as leading practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or technology-related field.
• Masters Degree in Information Systems preferred.
• Ten (10) years progressive IT leadership roles across technical domains in large IT environments.
