Summary
Responsible for all infrastructure operations covering data center, network, server, telephony, service monitoring, user support/service desk, distributed computing, servers, storage and related software. The role is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability for all IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and be responsible for all IT infrastructure operations * Achieve and maintain availability, resiliency and serviceability of all operations and delivery of services according to agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs) * Foster a culture of superior customer service, "healthy paranoia" of what can go wrong, proactivity, a sense of urgency when responding to service interruptions, and continuous improvement * Ensure operational readiness of infrastructure when new services or updates are introduced into production * Maintain currency of infrastructure and manage total lifecycle of infrastructure assets * Manage relationships with key IT Infrastructure service providers * Serve as an escalation point for all issues regarding IT infrastructure operations * Hire, lead and manage capable, energetic, passionate management for areas under your responsibility * Promote and ensure adherence to policies, processes and procedures, as well as leading practices * Perform other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or technology-related field. * Masters Degree in Information Systems preferred. * Ten (10) years progressive IT leadership roles across technical domains in large IT environments. **Other Requirements:** * Soft skills and technical skills that contribute to client satisfaction * Demonstrated commitment to customer-focused and team-oriented management * Demonstrated outstanding leadership capabilities * An adaptive innovator, strong change agent, and thought leader * Good understanding of corporate IT policies, procedures and standards * Collaboration and decision making skills * ITIL implementation experience
