Summary
As Application Support Analyst, provide end user support, work with business users to understand and document the business requirements , translate business requirements into product specification, work with developers and testers to get the solution developed and tested and develop the training documentation and train end users in ERPLN Finance functional area. As ITGC Coordinator, act as lead coordinator and project manager for global IT General Control process functions and audit cycle. This includes scheduling and coordinating audit walk-thru, identified ITGC deficiency remediation activities, documentation of internal processes and policies and support of periodic access reviews.
Responsibilities
* Provide end user support. Resolve day to day user reported issues, Investigate and provide resolution to resolve bugs in the process at root cause level. * Develop Knowledge Base Articles & Work Instructions/User Guides. * Conduct user training sessions and to train users. * Work with business users/cross functional teams/developers/testers to design, develop and test the new solutions. * Work pro-actively to improve current processes and to drive down the user support issues. * Work with Project Team to transition projects to Support Team. * Work with project implementation team during implementation as needed. * Knowledge sharing with peers & training team members to strengthen Support Team. * Writing Test cases to test the new and existing solutions and standard software patches. * Travel domestically and/or internationally as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager. * Oversee all ITGC related activities and planning * Coordinate and participate in other IT supported audit activities as required
Ideal Candidate
**Education** * Bachelor’s Degree required. **Work Experience** * Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Financial Accounting and/or IT General Controls. * Application Support Analyst & ITGC Coordinator position requires strong financial accounting experience, audit knowledge. * Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Financial Accounting and IT General Controls is required. * Candidate should have experience working on any financial application software. **Knowledge and Skills** * Candidate should have good knowledge in all financial accounting functions. * This position demands strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and fix the problem. * Good Coordination and Communication skills are required. * Experience with global organizations and exposure to SOX, COSO Framework and IT General Control audit cycle will be a plus. * Experience working with external audit firms and firm understanding of key IT general control points as well as experience designing IT and financial processes and controls will be a plus.
