Summary
Great American’s Client Relations Team is hiring for our Customer Service Trainee Program beginning in January 2017. New to annuities? This class will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the Annuity industry while working in a team centered environment where your ideas can be shared and you can impact the Company! The Client Relations team is responsible for handling inbound customer service calls for various groups in the Annuity Operations department.
Responsibilities
**What to Expect:** * 4 weeks of onsite training including instructor-led classroom sessions, mentoring, and hands-on learning. * Enjoy a fast-paced work environment in our Downtown Cincinnati, OH Headquarters * Work for a company that values work life balance, core working hours are 8:00am-5:30pm, Monday – Friday. **Responsibilities:** * Actively seeks information to understand customer’s circumstances, problems, expectations and needs. * Shares and / or conveys routine information to customers maintaining a professional demeanor in all situations. * Interacts with customers to provide information in response to routine inquiries (telephone, email, mail, etc.) about products or services. * Researches and resolves simple to moderately complex customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Documents processes used to correct issues. * Responds to correspondence, complaints and information requests via telephone, e-mail, fax, regular mail or in person. * Utilizes computerized systems for tracking, information gathering and / or troubleshooting. * May process routine / simple transactions. Transaction processing may be specified by authority / guidelines. * Maintains familiarity with policies and procedures, as well as the business and organization. Complies with company and regulatory guidelines.
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma required. Some College level coursework preferred. * Self-motivated team player who excels in a collaborative environment. * Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. * Passionate about continuously providing a positive customer experience. * Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). * Previous customer service experience preferred. * 0 - 3 years related experience.
