Summary

Great American is looking for a Corporate Regulatory Legal Assistant to join our Property & Casualty Legal Department in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. This position will work with our attorneys on corporate governance matters as well as provide assistance to other areas as needed. The successful candidate will be a professional with excellent oral and written communication skills who complements our existing team.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, circulate, file and index minutes and other corporate actions.
  • Assist with the distribution, filing and management of standard form agreements.
  • Maintain various corporate record databases
  • Support other members of Property & Casualty Legal team (serving as back up or handling overflow as needed).
  • Other projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • 0-4 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate setting is preferred.
  • Experience with corporate records and licensing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of legal research tools is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and departments within the organization.
  • Strong organization skills; able to manage/prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of business systems and legal processes.
