Financial Reporting Senior Accountant

Gramercy Property Trust (NYSE: GPT) is a leading global investor and asset manager of commercial real estate. * Assist with preparation of Company financial statements and SEC filings * Assist with quarterly and annual audits, both external and internal * Revise the Company’s Sarbanes Oxley policies and procedures to streamline the policies and procedures based upon the Company’s evolving organizational structure * Preparing and maintaining financial analyses and ad hoc reports for review with management * Ensure implementation of new accounting policies and procedures, including researching GAAP and interpreting and implementing new or updated GAAP * Participate in additional special projects at the discretion of management * Assist with month end close process

* BS/BA required, Accounting degree preferred * CPA or CPA candidate * Three to five years public accounting experience required * Detail oriented, strong analytical, organizational, problem solving and computer skills, proven ability to meet deadlines, works well under pressure and possess the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize effectively * Excellent Microsoft Excel skills * Experience with Workiva is a plus
