Distribution Center Forecasting Analyst

The DC Forecasting Analyst uses strong analytics and a core understanding of Distribution Operations to manage the forecasting needs of the distribution network. As a member of the DC Operations Business Analytics Team, the DC Forecasting Analyst will work with multiple business partners to create forecasting models of expected inbound and outbound volume. This role then directs the distribution centers in labor planning based on forecasted work and demonstrated productivity rates. A successful DC Forecasting Analyst will be engaged with leaders across the distribution network as a trusted partner.

* Gather forecasts and targets from various corporate teams such as Sales, Finance, Inventory Planning, and Network Strategy. * Analyze the various inputs to create forecasting models for both inbound and outbound volumes at each Distribution Center. * Assess the work volume by multiple attributes such as lines, dollars, and cube. * Develop tools for labor planning to match forecasted volume. * Provide context and analytical support to DC Operations leadership in decision making. * Partner with corporate teams on upcoming network changes and provide input on behalf of DC Operations.

* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field * 2-3 years of forecasting experience * Proficiency is Microsoft Office * SQL or other database experience preferred * Ability to interpret data into actionable problem solving * Excellent attention to detail * Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills * Strong time management
