Translating the strategic vision of your co-workers and clients, you’ll be leading and managing designers as you efficiently execute your artistic vision across multiple channels. You are a strategic thinker, a mentor (you will have direct reports), and a close follower of the latest digital breakthroughs—but most of all you possess an exquisite sense of design.

* Leading the design input, executing design directions, and managing the design process * Seeing and communicating the artistic vision of the team and client * Effectively inspiring the team and the client through ideas, designs, and quality mindsets * Translating client business goals into intelligent user experience recommendations Deftly juggling multiple assignments * Proactively identifying needs and potential issues—thinking ahead * Collaborating with other creatives, project managers, and developers to deliver a flawless product * Managing and mentoring other designers * Recognizing and acquiring new design talent for the team

**Attributes:** * Passionate in regards to the work and executing it to pixel perfection * An eye for detail, typography, and color * Very well organized with an extraordinary attention to detail * Solid work ethic, self-motivated and looks for opportunities to jump in * Exceptional client and people management skills * Communicates well and strives to articulate meaningful rationale for creative decisions **Skills and Talent:** * Expert knowledge of current interactive design trends and techniques * Expert understanding of information architecture and user experience * Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to share that knowledge * Basic knowledge of print production setup and printing oversight * Basic knowledge of digital printing and variable data considerations * Expert knowledge of all color space considerations * Strong people management skills * Strong presentation skills including persuasive speaking * Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS and development considerations * Proficiency in Flash/After Effects and motion design * Experience managing photographers and illustrators **Education and Experience** * Bachelor’s degree or higher * 5+ years experience defining and driving the design process and direction of both small and large interactive projects for Web and other digital media * Creating and designing interactive campaigns across multiple platforms * Managing and directing designers and other team members * Portfolio that demonstrates expertise in a range of design skills and styles
