Senior Full Stack Engineer

Gorilla Logic is working with our client, who is an industry leader in data driven marketing, to help build their team we are looking for highly intelligent and capable fullstack engineer, working on backend and web development for their big data platform. Based in Trumbull, Connecticut (near New Haven), this is a unique and highly technical role, requiring extensive .Net/C# and web development experience. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.

* Work as a member of an Agile Software Development Team to help implement new functionality based on business requirements. * Build REST-based web services using .Net/C# * Build web user interfaces using JQuery, JQuery.UI and React * All development and production processing is done in the cloud. If you are not a cloud computing expert already, you will become one. We use Amazon AWS and the Oracle Cloud

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) * 5+ years of backend and/or web development experience * Must have 3+ years of .Net/C# development experience including experience accessing relational databases using ODBC and/or ADO * Must have 2+ years of web development experience using JavaScript, JQuery or other JavaScript frameworks * Experience with React is a big plus * Experience with JavaScript charting or analytics libraries like HighCharts and D3 is a big plus * Must be very familiar with SQL including complex queries, views, stored procedures, etc. * Experience with Amazon Cloud is a plus, particularly with Redshift, EC2 and ELB * Experience with either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle is required * Familiarity with Linux is required * Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members * Team leadership experience is a big plus
