Gopher Sport is currently seeking a Catalog Production Artist responsible for creating high-quality catalog page layouts in a creative, deadline-driven environment, ensuring all files are correct and adhere to our standards and guidelines. - Produce on-time catalog pages that adhere to Gopher Sport standards and guidelines - Responsible for completing projects on-time and according to project workflow - Ensure all multi-channel content is accurate and adheres to set standards - Ensure all page files are the correct quality and file type for print

- Degree in design or related field - 5 to 7 years of experience with design processes, graphic production, file preparation and printing processes - Expert knowledge/technical expertise in current version of Adobe Creative Suite (CC2015): InDesign and Acrobat - Strong skills in other related Adobe Programs Photoshop and Illustrator - Expert use of keyboard shortcuts, actions, and high-level of efficiency in Adobe Programs. - Excellent layout, design, and typography skills - Expert knowledge of creating and working with templates and style sheets; producing multiple page versions - Database driven page production experience (PIM System) - Able to pre-flight, package, proof, and prepare press-ready files - The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset, positive attitude; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and turn projects around quickly; a true team-player, self-motivated, high-energy; - Excellent communication and organizational skills; - Thrive in a deadline-driven environment; - skills and meticulous attention to detail; - capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently; - communicate clearly and effectively and the ability to listen carefully and to ask questions in order to drive toward requirements of the design; - comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced, creative and flexible environment.
