About Gild

We launched Gild with a vision: to fundamentally transform hiring from the ground up.

Summary

Gild is building an intelligent and collaborative end-to-end hiring platform that will change the way people are hired forever. If you are a UX Designer who wants to have a big impact on the design and development of a product that disrupts how hiring is done, this is the place for you.

Responsibilities
  • As an instrumental part of the Product Team you will work in an AGILE environment, and collaborate with Product Design in shipping the right thing at the right time.
  • You will triangulate several data points not just relying on customer feedback, but also by collaborating with the Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing team to understand user needs.
  • You will distill feedback and have a more user-focused than user-driven approach to develop use cases.
  • You will work iteratively and continue to build requirements and user stories for product use cases for an AGILE framework.
Ideal Candidate
  • Loads of curiosity and obsession on how things work
  • Deep empathy for users, and the ability to balance business requirements with user requirements
  • Experience running usability studies, ethnography, formative and summative research and quantitative research like surveys and A/B testing
  • Expertise in design techniques such as wire-framing, storyboarding, flowcharting and sketching
  • Comfort in working with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, and iterative startup environment
  • Comfort being customer-facing and interacting daily with external and internal customers
  • 5+ years in Product Design OR Product Management
  • A strong portfolio of UX work that demonstrates your methods of solving product problems
  • Ability to distinguish between UI and UX (bonus points if you can come up with 3 differences)
  • A strong desire to become a Product Expert who will assist with the ideation, development and launch of innovative new product lines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work experience in a SaaS environment
  • Experience working in sprints / SCRUM
