Director of Account Management

The Director of Account Management manages large customer account relationships. The Director of Account Management is responsible for keeping our customers happy — and learning from them. The Director will also be really comfortable with data, really interested in learning what our users think we should do to improve our product, will enjoy working in concert with other Gigwalk teams, and will be awesome in a variety of other ways we haven’t thought of.

* Maintaining relationships with and developing new business from existing large enterprise accounts. * Managing channel relationships, building sales plans, and enabling sales teams from channel partners in order to increase sales through channel partners. * Selling into new customer accounts where these are assigned. * Channeling feedback from customers to the product management team * Coordinating with Support, SDR and CSM teams to ensure that new customers and projects are successfully deployed.

* Bachelors Degree * Must have excellent customer interface skills. Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills, and be highly organized * 5+ years of relevant account management experience * Prefer experience in the Retail/CPG vertical * Comfortable working with executive-level customer (VP and above) contacts. * Intelligent, patient, and empathetic communicator * Data-driven decision-maker * Roll-up-the sleeves work ethic and responsiveness to change * Eagerness to have an impact on a rapidly growing startup * Familiarity working with customer support/account management tools, such as Zendesk, RightNow, Salesforce, and others. * Based in the SF Bay Area
