Responsibilities
* Support in-force rate action pricing initiatives of Long Term Care insurance products to meet market requirements while maintaining the company's profitability and risk management objectives * Assist with building and maintaining pricing models * Develop tools to aid in the pricing of Long Term Care products * Support policy form filings, including preparing exhibits for actuarial memoranda and reviewing technical aspects of policy forms * Document tools and processes used in pricing * Support ad hoc requests for actuarial assistance on product issues
Ideal Candidate
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** * BA/BS Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or related major * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities * Basic programming skills and experience in Microsoft applications of Excel, VBA, Access and Word * Strong communication skills, both oral and written * Ability to interact professionally and effectively in a team environment * Self-driven, motivated and shows ownership in tasks **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * 3+ years of relevant actuarial pricing experience with Long Term Care insurance or other long-duration insurance product * Commitment to achieving FSA designation * Basic knowledge of insurance terminology * Basic knowledge of accounting concepts * Experience with actuarial pricing software, preferably AXIS * Programming skills in SAS, SQL, VBA
