Responsible for development of algorithms for electric traction motors and power electronics for hybrid and electric vehicle applications.

Develop control algorithms for AC electric machines and 3-phase switching power converters

Perform simulation and analysis of electric drive and high voltage power electronics

Plan and perform algorithm development and/or verification in dynamometer facility and on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) systems

BSEE

At least one year experience with either, motor controls, power electronics, AC/DC drive systems or a combination of

At least one year of experience with of AC electric machine operating principles and of 3-phase switching power converter topologies

Minimum five years of engineering experience in related area

Understanding of digital controls of 3-phase switching power converters and AC electric machines

Ability to follow algorithms coded in C and C++ programming languages

Experience in using Matlab/Simulink
Preferred

MS in Electrical Engineering or PhD Electrical Engineering

Experience in development, testing and/or modeling and simulations of electric drives

Knowledge of electric machine and high voltage power electronics design fundamentals
