Summary
POSITION OVERVIEW Join the General Mills media team to support our audience segmentation strategies, data management platform, and measurement process. This position collaborates with internal media strategists, DMP vendor, data providers and agency to build winning audience segments for our campaigns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with programmatic audience planning, buying and measurement. They will demonstrate a data driven mindset and drive to find the right audiences for a campaign. They will have worked with a variety of programmatic data technologies – DMP, CRM systems, 3rd party data providers, data analysis tools, etc. This is a new role at General Mills and will reshape how we connect with consumers. It is an exciting opportunity for the right talent to lead and define audience segmentation strategies and tactics.
Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage audience segment building, activation, and analysis with agency and data partners * Drive organization learning plan to identify high performing audience segments OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES * Analyze and optimize in-market campaigns in collaboration with agency, data partners and measurement team * Manage data inside DMP, enterprise CRM systems, and in collaboration with publisher partners * Build insights and best practices by measuring the performance of 1st party, 3rdparty, and publisher data sets * Partner with agency to incorporate audience segmentation into digital media planning process * Maintain a deep understanding of programmatic data trends, strategies and tactics * Additional duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree required * 3-5 years in digital media strategy and planning * 2+ years data management experience at an agency, advertiser, or DSP / SSP * Responsibility for managing data sources and segments in a DMP * Working knowledge of all things related to programmatic data – DMP, CRM system, tagging, etc. * Demonstrated experience using data to drive optimization and improve delivery * Strong project management skills and attention to detail
