Summary
The Operations Support Specialist will work as a part of the management team and work with the department leaders to drive operational excellence across the facility to ensure high customer satisfaction. You will be involved in all areas of the business such as safety, quality and delivery.
Responsibilities
As the Operations Support Specialist, you will: * Be responsible for project management for customer projects and internal capital projects * Work with department specialists to drive continuous improvement in environmental compliance, health and safety issues * Provide customers with technical and problem solving support * Drive quality improvements through traditional Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) activities, audits and root cause analysis * Provide support with proposal development, quoting and invoicing of projects Support productivity, cycle reductions and service level initiatives
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications/Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the repair of electric machinery) * Minimum of 3 years of experience in General Operations Support **Desired Characteristics:** * Electric Motor, Generator or Switchgear experience * Good written and verbal communication skills Analytical and problem solving skills * Highly motivated and results driven * Ability to manage multiple projects at once * Ability to manage time and be self-directed
