Summary
As the FP&A Lead Analyst you will be responsible for supporting FP&A team in critical analysis and understanding of the financial performance of Financial Services. Provide financial support for programs/functions by performing financial results, reviews, planning and forecasting of the financials, participating in assigned projects, and providing financial solutions & budget controls.
Responsibilities
* Perform financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis, including comparison of financial estimates vs. budgets and related risks and opportunities. * Prepare blueprint and monthly / quarter reviews * Work on cost out initiatives (cash generation, regionalization, productivity, etc.) driving business direction and strategy * Establish metrics to help drive operating teams meet their financial and business commitments * Partner with and provide pro-active financial support to Center / Business Leaders and Regional Leaders communicating financial analysis and helping achieve business' headcount and productivity targets * Respond to ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports in an understandable way * Evaluate and implement FP&A process improvements * Build strong relationship with local Finance Teams and Genpact Resources (if applicable) * Support quarter and year end closing and reporting
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum 6 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role) * Minimum 2 years experience in a finance or accounting role **Desired Characteristics:** * Strong analytical skills * Familiarity with FP&A reporting tools/accounting systems a plus * Self-starter: can work independently and take initiative in challenging situations * Able to initiate and build new processes/structures * Strong time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines * Strong interpersonal skills: can effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
