Accounting Clerk

It has always been Gehring Group's philosophy to provide a full range of brokerage and consulting services to each of our clients, with regards to their Employee Benefits, Workers' Compensation and Property & Casualty programs that are aligned with each client's goals and objectives.

• We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to provide general accounting support for Gehring Group business operations. You will assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties and respond to vendor inquiries related to payment and payment processing. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level accountant/bookkeeper to gain additional experience maintaining journals, ledgers and other records detailing our financial transactions.
• The Accounting Clerk will review all invoices and ensure appropriate documentation and approval for payment. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with reconciliation of financial reports and other reporting procedures as needed for Gehring Group finances.

• If you have basic knowledge/experience with accounting principles as they apply to accounts payable, we want to hear from you.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software is a plus. You should also be a self-starter with a "can do" attitude.
