Project Manager

Gearbox Software is an award-winning independent developer of interactive entertainment based in Plano, Texas.

* Work closely with the Senior Producer and provide oversight of the master schedule and help manage team resources. * Oversee and mentor a team of scrum masters all working toward a unified goal. * Assist production team with risk tracking and management. * Keep an eye on project scope and ensure proper capacity planning. * Be aware of project budgets and stay within the set financial constraints. * Provide clear and concise reports and easy to understand data points for evaluation by SNR producer and upper management, (using tools like Jira). * Evaluate processes and introduce improvements as needed.

* 3+ years of experience managing large, complex projects, with a firm grasp of video game development. * Understanding of various project management techniques, including Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall. * Expertise with a variety of tools, including Jira, Agile. * Shipped at least 1 AAA title in the same role. * Bachelor's or equivalent experience. * Certifications in Scrum and PMP/PMI a plus.
