Summary
As the FP&A Lead Analyst you will be responsible for supporting FP&A team in critical analysis and understanding of the financial performance of Financial Services. Provide financial support for programs/functions by performing financial results, reviews, planning and forecasting of the financials, participating in assigned projects, and providing financial solutions & budget controls.
Responsibilities
Perform financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis, including comparison of financial estimates vs. budgets and related risks and opportunities. Prepare S1, S2, OP and monthly / quarter reviews Work on cost out initiatives (cash generation, regionalization, productivity, etc.) driving business direction and strategy Establish metrics to help drive operating teams meet their financial and business commitments Partner with and provide pro-active financial support to Center / Business Leaders and Regional Leaders communicating financial analysis and helping achieve business’ headcount and productivity targets Respond to ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports in an understandable way Evaluate and implement FP&A process improvements Build strong relationship with local Finance Teams and Genpact Resources (if applicable)
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications/Requirements:** Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting or Finance (or a high school diploma/GED or equivalent with at least 6 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role) Minimum 2 years experience in a finance or accounting role **Desired Characteristics:** Strong analytical skills Familiarity with FP&A reporting tools/accounting systems a plus. Self-starter: can work independently and take initiative in challenging situations. Able to initiate and build new processes/structures. Strong time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills: can effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
