Summary
Organize and lead projects related to new premises, factory buildings, new equipment, lay-out, renovations and optimization. Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Seasoned and deep understanding of concepts, approaches and methodology used. Deep expertise on the level of a technological field.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a technical subject matter expert in facilities maintenance providing comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches, and methodology. * Create a facility digital strategy that ties into Brilliant and Smart Factory initiatives. * Organize and lead projects related to new premises, factory buildings, rehabilitation, new equipment, lay-out, renovations and optimization. Works on very complex technological issues or manufacturing processes. * Solves issues and developing new solutions requiring new and innovative approaches. * Presents to top leadership in the business solutions (SEB, Sr.VP) on technical discipline and business solutions. * Has the authority to guide others in different approaches
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering. * Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Industrial Projects. * Eligibility Requirement * must be willing to travel 15 - 20 % of the time * GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. * trong oral and written communication skills. * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. * Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. * Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. * Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. * Established project management skills.
