Sales Specialist

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a part of the USA TODAY Network, is seeking a Retail Specialist in the coordination and tactical execution of strategies for retail sales locations within the Milwaukee area. The position is responsible for sales calls with retailers; developing and coordinating sales and promotional materials to support sales programs; and achievement of our single copy volume and revenue goals.

In addition, the position will be responsible for assisting in marketing, sales and promotional activities to include: * Ensuring successful execution of all retail sales projects * Building relationship with top retail accounts to help achieve sales growth * Making recommendations on best practices within a retailer chain or group of chains * Visiting retail locations and evaluating Sunday newspaper positioning as well as other key days

Qualified candidate will possess a retail or related sales experience with a college degree preferred. Excellent customer service skills are essential along with the ability to self-manage productivity and thought. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
