Summary
As a Program Manager working in the Program Management Office, you will oversee and manage groups of projects that align with G5’s Strategic Plan. You will work closely with executives, business leaders, and subject matter experts throughout G5 and with business analysts in the PMO to move projects forwards while keeping deliverables aligned with program objectives. You will also ensure that project scopes, budgets, and schedules remain aligned with project charters and statements of work.
Responsibilities
* Develop program scopes to align with strategic initiatives * Develop and prioritize projects under programs * Facilitate discussions to evaluate project alternatives or different approaches to resolving business needs * Manage projects and be willing to engage in all levels of project work to ensure timely deliverables * Assign work to business analysts and oversee progress * Create and present executive reports * Participate in or lead employee training related to project deliverables * Be able to garner respect from your project teams * Be able to lead a team to self-organization * Have the desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business * Exemplify G5 Core Values and Behaviors
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or closely-related field * Master’s degree and PMP certification is desired * 5+ years’ experience in project management, with a demonstrated track record of delivering results utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies * Experience with Lean and Six Sigma processes * Great communication skills * Exceptional attentional to detail * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google business applications
