DATABASE DEVELOPER

FuseFX is an award winning visual effects studio that provides visual effects services for film, television, commercials, games, and special venues.

* Maintain and develop in-house database solutions and APIs * Maintain feature requests and troubleshooting tickets * Assist in defining database structure with a focus on speed and efficiency * Work with management and department heads to come up with solutions to complex issues.

* 5 years experience with SQL-based database development and web site development * Strong knowledge of relational database design * HTML / CSS / JavaScript programming * Good design skills with a focus on efficiency and user experience * Knowledge of Python and PHP scripting languages * Familiarity with Image file formats including JPG, DPX, EXR, QuickTime * Experience with AppleScript and command-line statements * BA degree or equivalent * FileMaker database development experience * Certified FileMaker developer * Knowledge of FileMaker plug-ins and their use when applicable * Knowledge of Visual Effects processes.
