Data Engineer

We're looking for a Data Engineer to help manage the flow of data from production systems all the way through to building out our data warehouse. You'll be on our dedicated Data Engineering team to focus on data flow, enabling analytics, performance, and building our overall back-end infrastructure.

This role is a unique opportunity because it's so open-ended. The team has a lot of agency around what solutions we implement. You'll be able to drive a lot of we build and how we build it. **You'll help us solve challenges like:** * Data warehousing all aspects of our loan application process to help * build powerful analytics tools. * Backtesting experimental credit models. * Making our data more accessible for global BI.

* 3-5 years of engineering experience. * A degree in CS or a similar field. * Experience working on challenges involving ETL, reporting, * analytics, or anything else data-related. * Work within an 'event-sourcing' model. * Experience working with open source tools. * Experience working with databases like Postgres, NoSQL, etc. **Bonus points for experience or interest in:** * Hadoop * Kafka * Samza * Clojure
