Summary
The Sales Development Representative is an integral part of the sales team helping to find and qualify prospects. If you like to engage customers in business conversations about a solution that has strategic impact, then this could be the role for you. Responsibilities
Develop contact lists based on target companies provided by sales Develop messaging based on prospect’s segment Make outbound calls, follow up with emails, social media and other Internet sales tools. Set appointments with qualified prospects for sales Qualify contacts as high, medium, low based on defined criteria Develop and maintain knowledge of company’s offerings Enter and track activities using salesforce.com
Ideal Candidate
2 years of experience in sales required, ideally in software solutions Professional, high energy level, great work ethic and a team attitude College degree preferred Comfortable in a metrics-driven culture Experience leveraging social media and other Internet technology for prospect identification and qualification is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills required A persistent and professional approach to sales development is required Salesforce.com experience is preferred Ability to commute to New York (Midtown) is required
