The position reports to the Rental & Service Sales Manager and routinely interacts with Aftermarket Service Managers as well as customers both internal and external.

Prepare and track quotes. Follow-up with customer upon completion of work to ensure customer satisfaction. Promptly respond to customer inquiries, and provide quotes within a 24-hour period whenever possible; provide a response same day on priority items. Assist the Parts department in sourcing the correct parts to be quoted. Review technician supplied parts requests for accuracy and ensure the customer received a quote within 24 hours. (Same day on priority items.) Review FSR’s from previous day, daily, to look for and capitalize on additional quote opportunities that may have been missed. Respond promptly and courteously to all customer calls and emails regarding requests for additional work. Follow up daily on quoted work and track sales progress. Assist in identifying parts and track parts status once approvals are received, and inform the appropriate staff once parts for approved work have arrived. Assist service coordinators in planning, and assigning quoted work appropriately. May act as an internal project manager on larger scale jobs to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction, as directed. Assist the Service Managers in qualifying, and tracking quotes that qualify for appropriate incentive programs.

Associate degree (or equivalent experience) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Five years’ experience in generator service industry preferred. Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. Lead by example and be a team player. Experience with MS Office applications. Strong math and analytical skills including ability to calculate discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to carry out instructions given in written, oral or diagram form. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong written communication skills.
