Technical Services Department, of a large high rise residential complex with its own on-site Power Plant, is seeking to hire an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with background in designing/ operation or construction of a Power Plant as well as other MEP systems for the residential buildings. The successful applicant will report directly to the Director of Technical Services and will assist in monitoring the Power Plant and other site-wide buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, and open space capital improvement projects.

* Analyze and establish solutions relating to the Power Plant equipment such as boiler, steam turbines, electrical generators, cooling towers, diesel engine generators, centralized chillers, pumps, etc. * Monitor construction projects. * Interface with Contractors and Consultants, City and State Agencies such as NYC Building Department, NYC DEP, and NYC FireDepartment. * Establish Scope of Work for repairs, and/or replacement of equipment and components. * Prepare sketches and specifications for in-house projects.

* A BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * A minimum of 10 years actual engineering experience. * A valid P.E. license in the State of NewYork * Must be PC literate. * Must have excellent Managerial and Communication skills.
