Summary

As a DSP Software Engineer on the new product development team, you will develop high performance audio systems. You will participate in the implementation of algorithms for audio processing and noise mitigation. You will develop tests for these algorithms to verify functionality and performance and you will help in the tuning of these algorithms for optimum performance.

Responsibilities
  • Developing algorithms in collaboration with Advanced Development and Systems Engineering teams
  • Coding algorithms in MATLAB, C, and assembly code
  • Developing unit tests and system tests for DSP algorithms
  • Mentoring junior members of the team on software development best practices
Ideal Candidate
  • At least 5 years of industry experience is required.
  • MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with an emphasis on DSP or Communications
  • Excellent understanding of DSP theory
  • Excellent understanding of software development concepts and processes such as requirements gathering, design documentation, reviews and inspections and unit testing
  • Knowledge of C, Matlab and a scripting language such as Perl or Python

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Analog Devices SHARC processors nice to have
  • Experience with audio processing nice to have
